We are coming together to honour the memory of Edward Barnshaw by giving back to those in need.
“Ed’s luxury in life was never material things, but having the ability to offer a person help and make them smile. For him, giving wasn’t an act, but a way of life” – Matt Collingwood
We have set up a Just Giving page to allow everyone to contribute to a cause that was close to Eddie’s heart.
Helping the homeless was something that Eddie felt very passionate about. So what better way to share his spirit than to continue his legacy of giving back to those in need.
If you have the opportunity please take the time to donate what you can on the page we have set up. All proceeds will go directly to the Sifa Fireside foundation that aims to enable homeless and vulnerable people to take control, paving the way for healthier fulfilling lives.

Sifa fireside want to create a city free from homelessness, where everyone can access the services they need to live well.
They do this by supporting adults who are homeless and vulnerable by meeting their immediate needs (like access to showers and a health clinic) and long-term needs. That means helping them feel confident and determined as well as warm and comfortable.
Supporting vulnerable adults
Meeting everyday needs
Supporting move-on
Someone experiencing homelessness has often lived through trauma, neglect or prolonged poor mental health. They help them overcome the continued trauma that is homelessness with trauma-informed care which recognises and addresses this fact.
Building trust with people to help them through a crisis
Long-term, sustainable solutions to homelessness.
